Day 4
Class day today, so lots of practice along with my students.
1 hour of longsword – 10 minutes of flow warm-up, then 20 minutes focusing on the breaking of the thrust, 20 minutes on deflections and clearing actions and 10 minutes of contextual actions.
1 hour of rapier – 10 minutes warm-up, 20 minutes review of reverse lunge in various forms, then 30 minutes of work on the passatta sotto and sbasso. Great thigh and back workout.
