Enjoyed the tempo study and mixing up the foot work and measure

Forms this week were challenging , need lots of review and practice .

I was able to complete my time commitment and get most everything completed in that time frame.

Plan for week 4 Review new content Monday and get some partner training in on Tuesday

What stood out to you?<div>Enjoyed learning and identifying the various Misura in the Five Measures form, and combining them with different footwork </div><div>
<div>Did you have any big “aha moments” in your training?</div><div>Concentrating on turning on my toes with the Volta stabile . Using ASICS wrestling shoe helped so the sneakers don’t stick </div><div>
</div><div>What was most challenging? </div><div>Needed the outdoor space to learn and record the five measures, which I saved to last.</div><div>Wound up running out of daylight and finished in the garage Saturday night .</div><div>
</div><div>Did you meet your own objectives?</div><div>Yes, with the time spent on practice every day .</div><div>No. with finishing all of the content .</div><div>Definitely enjoying the challenge?</div><div>
</div><div>What do you think you might do differently next week</div></div><div>
</div><div>Spent a lot of time early in the week with the preliminary video assignments.
</div><div>Will start with forms this week, so I can make sure to practice more before recording </div><div>

    Week 2 training

spent 2-3 hours / day working on daily routine and required coursework, learning , recording and posting videos .

This new learning method to use video and self assessment to learn the forms and basics is awesome

Fell a little short on the daily repetition requirement.

Plan to focus on forms early in the week, rather than trying to get the other items out-of-the-way first.

    Reflection

    – what stood out to me the most on week one was that there were clear things to work on to achieve a specific goal for the first week course.

Aha -the meaning of proper order and getting the crossbar out before the strike comes; better understanding of body momentum and engaging the hips

    Most challenging part /pistol squats

Found that when I completed the learning and videotaping of the forms, there was a lot of other things to do

next lesson I plan to navigate the requirements before to figure out what needs to be done to complete the weekly assignments

    5 Thrust Form

Need to extend finestra further with Volta stabile before passing step into posta longa

    5 Measures

Learned how to identify, how to get to and where to go from the different measures , really needs a lot of work!
