my dog pulled me down onto the ice last night and i hurt my hip and back and knee.
i worked on stretching and massaging the super tight muscles. it hurt like a b word but i dont think this will hold me back for more then a couple days if i keep working on the areas.

looking back on last week
took Sunday off as a rest day. OK lets look back on last week. i think i did a good job varying my training. like every time i had to do 3 reps of 20 i used each rep to explore something different. i adapted things that i felt that were not challenging me enough to something harder by adding more to it. on the other had sometimes i stayed with simpler drills and really made sure that what i was doing was correct.
i could be doing more on the studying portion, watching more videos and reading more stuff. also i have yet to shoot a video but that is coming. my work study Olly is shooting videos of me so i just need to come up with an assessment.
all and all i would say that i am settling into my new routine and i am happy with my progress so far.

later start to training today. completed my training today. im gonna take the plunge and up my push ups from 3 stets of 15 to 3 sets of 20. trying to motivate myself to go slower on my squats to embrace that suck.
iv started to reward myself with a trip to the rec centre I plan on doing this 2 days a week. Im gonna 10 min hot (steam or sauna or hot tub) 10 med temp (kids pool) exercise related swimming or moving with resistance. 10 min water relax. at least 2 sets. most likly 3 as i want to hit the hot tub steam room and sauna.
my wife took me to a spa for the first time in my life and i would like this to be a regular part on my life.

2 of the kids were home sick today and wanted to occupy the living room/ training area. kicked them to bed because I need to do my training, no excesses. today was easier then yesterday as i understood all the drills and didn’t have to puzzle anything today. completed today’s training and extras.

self exam of last week
ok i didn’t accomplish all of my goals last week i didn’t shoot the video. i did train 5/7 though. i did get some of my extras done like looking at docs and watching videos. i feel ok with falling short with all of my extras. im building a new schedule and im re organizing my life so regular daily training has a place. im gonna stay goal oriented and make these things a priority and continue to try.
this week
i am going to try a different physical fitness routine this week to accompany my sword training. a more detailed explanation will come later. and i plan to do at least the med training. and watch videos and make one.
1)med training 5/7 days this week
2) physical fitness with each training session
3) read a doc watch a video or shoot a video 3/7 this week
