I like how grounded and how low you are in your stance. I agree there are a couple of times where you began stepping first but the movement was great.
-
I like the intensity and focus you put into your strikes.
-
Mechanics and posture look good. Lower body moving well, but your seem a little ridged in the upper body. Might be from all the dancing having to lock your frame. 🙂

<div>What helps you stay motivated in your training?</div><div>
Listening to music and seeing other students post on training.
What do you most enjoy in practice?
Getting all the little details of a technique working.
What is a training activity or attitude that you dropped because you didn’t find it helpful at all?
Trying to take on to much at once.

My blocks are:
1. Perfection. Thinking everything has to be perfect the first time and/or the conditions need to be perfect to complete a task.
a. Plan is to keep moving forward and take one day at a time.
2. Not asking for help.
a. Plan is to utilize supporters
3. Trying to do to much at one time.
a. Plan is to build structure and take the training a piece at a time. Remind myself its a journey, and not a race. Enjoy the process and don’t get bogged down in every microscopic detail.

Added shoulder and chest targets to training dummy this afternoon, then spent a hour working on thrusts, downward cut, upward cuts, and double cuts on training dummy. Planning to record flow exercise tomorrow.
-
Spent 1 hour this morning on the flow exercise with an focus on footwork and the sword going first. Realized while doing the double cuts while changing direction that I was stepping with the first cut. Also took about 10 minutes to warm up prior to starting.
I also spent a little time working setting up my journal in Notion and setup some reminders in Remember the Milk.
