The Defensive Posture – Practice
5 minutes – Practice the defensive posture and have a partner examine you, or use a mirror or video to examine yourself. Check:
- alignment of the hand,
- lead elbow,
- shoulders over hips,
- hips over feet,
- alignment of feet to the line of direction.
Review and examine your posture regularly and as a part of all fundamental drills.
