Making my way steadily through the material as I balance work life and Masterclass courses.
Challenging part has been the preconceived confidence I had about it and the extra time I’ve needed to take to reorganize my approach to it.

What stood out to you?
That I so confident in something I was doing wrong.
Did you have any big “aha moments” in your training?
I was too tense in my thrusting on the end of obsession for the person but it hindered my fluidity. When I focused on fluidity I found the angle so I was simply too tense in the body.
What was most challenging?
Having to rewrite some bad habits. Things I was confident in but the course then revealing I had drill in an incorrect version all this time.
Did you meet your own objectives?
I wanted to complete it to the best of current ability…so yes?
What do you think you might do differently next week?
Relax physically and mentally engage more critically.

Endurance and cardio?<div>My longevity is probably the best it’s been
<div>Flexibility and stability?</div><div>I think my challenge is working these aspects together. Sometimes my attempt at stability is causing a rigidness and makes me slow to adapt/transition.</div><div>Precision and coordination?</div><div>I feel precision is something I endeavor for strongly and is the source of my rigidity.</div><div>What is a course of action you’re taking to improve your ability?</div></div><div>I’m not quite sure how to solve this issue without tactical cues. Typically what’s helped me is practical application to prioritize those relaxed and engaged moments. </div> -
It’s been wonderful to just have this to drive more hours in during the week. Somethings have stuck and are smooth and other aspects have developed a small hiccup and I have to rewrite the code in the ol’ brain.

Foundational Cuts Flow:
First of all, props for the pure endurance and in the cold no less. Solid flex.
Your order is looking good and when you’re confident in the movements it begins to flow nicely.
Be aware of a habit developing in your thrust as you are coming to a full stop and rocking your weight before proceeding forward.

Unarmed Flow:
Good flow and order of the movements. I like the intent in your movements. On a mechanical side be aware that your knee looks collapsed somewhat on the forward leg.

What stood out to you?<div>How until now I had neglected certain movements and they were still in the conscious use stage.
<div>
</div><div> Did you have any big “aha moments” in your training?</div><div>
</div><div>Yes, There were few micro movements that I had neglected overtime and rediscovering them allowing the form that I knew to finally flow. </div><div>
</div><div><b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;”>What was most challenging?
</div><div>
</div><div>Retracing old ground can sometimes inspire childlike temper tantrums. In this case I had to overcome some ego and realize I still have much to learn. </div><div>
</div><div>Did you meet your own objectives? </div><div>
</div><div>Yes. I believe I was able to fulfill these assignments to a level I can say I’m proud of. </div><div>
</div><div>What do you think you might do differently next week?</div></div><div>
</div><div>Next week will involve less life chaos and so I hope to spend more conscious & thorough investment in my training. </div> -
Making time each day to move through the cutting drills with sword in hand or not, so that I practice regardless of where I am.
My personal fitness was definitely not to scale with the accompanying workouts.

I think I could have better martial intent and afford to get a little lower in my stance. Overall I’m happy with the order my movements.

Over the past 2 days I’ve now completed Longsword Fundamentals I: Intro, Cutting & Postures. It was nice to revisit these with diligence.

I’m quite satisfied mechanically speaking.<div>My movements are smooth and in the right order but I notice I pop forward at the arms near the end of the strike. Martially I think the acceleration is wrong because the movement isn’t being properly motivated. </div><div>

Unarmed Flow:
Very smooth and well ordered. You had a healthy amount of intent throughout the flow.
Thing to notice is you seem to rock your weight occasionally which adds a small loss in fluidity/tempo which can also train in a “tell” before you begin a movement.
I honestly add to be quite picky to add a critique. Well done.
