hi Thomas. There isn’t a way for you to do it from your view of the site, but I have unchecked you on that topic. Let me know if you need anything else.

5.5k hike through the bush, with short uphill “sprints” (best as can be done in boots and winter clothes).

Short set of pushups and inverted rows. I’ll do a bit of stretching tonight to finish it off.

I love the eastern flavour! Your footwork is looking good, and your postures are very crisp. If I can be picky, I’ll say it looks like your hands and fingers are very tense–you could relax that a little. Less claw in posta longa and dente al cinghiara. Keep going!👍

hi Kevin. Sorry I missed your message, and glad you got in with us–nice to have you there. In the future consult the course “Live” lesson info for the Zoom session registrations. This Sunday’s lesson was found here:

    https://swordplaymasterclass.com/courses/foundation-movement-attack-ls1/lessons/live/topic/sunday-foundation/

For next week’s sessions, there will be another course panel to appear in your list of courses, and it will have lesson information for the Live sessions.

    Hope that helps!

Great work, Stela. Your self-assessment is right on. You can also afford to step slightly later when moving forward–let your sword get in front of you a bit more.

Go slowly when making corrections so you can focus on the details. Another thing to think about as you make the flow is martiality–every cut has a combat purpose, and you make each cut with that purpose in mind. Maybe imagine a partner/opponent that you are interacting with. Enjoy!

Looking, good, David! You’ve got a lot of good things going on. If I can be picky I’ll mention your weight distribution–you rock backwards and forwards a bit. Think about keeping your weight on your front leg a bit more and you’ll feel more balanced and solid on your feet. Keep going!

Don’t sweat it, Kevin, you’ve got time. If you’re unsure then it’s best to start earlier than later.

Let us know if there are any questions we can answer. Cheers!

hi Jeffrey. Your sword looks a lot like a 2nd generation Darkwood Scrimiator. Very similar to the one Devon uses for a lot of demos (the blue-handled sword of his, which is an early 1st-gen model).
