Day 4 (Sat): longsword class focussing on recovering + worked on sixth master of dagger plays

Week 2: Recovering
Day 1 (Weds): 5 mins working through dagger form and 1st master of dagger disarms with partner

Day 5 (Sun): spear workshop.
Reflection: varied week working with spear, sword and buckler, dagger, and longsword. Happy to get in some sparring practice too. Hope to keep it up next week and also get around to shooting some videos.

Week 4: Dente al cinghiara
Plan: Aim to review the material from the Dagger Masters workshop this week, make it to a couple of classes, do the big practice (contingency short practice), and find time for some partner training.
Day 1 (Mon): range of motion exercises concentrating on back health.

Day 4: longsword class continuing to work on 18 poste progression, scholar’s assault and Marozzo’s two-handed sword assault.

Day 3 (Fri): attended class on Manciolino’s two sword assault

Day 2 (Thurs): worked on the Gioco Stretto Defense form today, focussing on consistency and accuracy of blade placement. Had to really slow down to improve control – also found practising in front of the mirror helped a lot.
