Week 1:

Contingency: In case of clouded by Brain Fog or any other ADHD symptoms, instead of judging myself, just go into the rabbit hole on Swordplay topics on youtube or articles or manuscripts.

Week 3: Focus on Stringering
Day 1:
1. Read 15 mins on Rapier’s Stringering
2. Short Practice on Porta de Ferro with initiating attack on different quadrants-
Day 2:
1. Read 15mins on Fiore’s wrestling to find some moves that has clearer Stringerings.
2. Medium Practice. 15mins deep breathing exercise and 10mins joints warm up
3. Dente di Cinghiaro’s three defenses against throwing sword, cut and thrust of a sword and throwing spears. Solo visualization. 15mins
4. Stretch for 15mins, or more.
5. Do a quick reflection.

Week 4:
Goal: follow through the DTV materials on Dente al Chinghiara with each lesson on each day as minimum practice. Toss in some forms and readings for extra.-
Day 5:
A friend came to my place to talk about hosting his own study group and we shared knowledge.
We did some dagger work besides the sharing. -
Day 4:
Done the Defense Against the Reverso on Chinghiara and tossed in some different angles with different cuts from visualization. -
Day 3:
Did Defenses Against the Descending Mandritto on DTV, upgrade it into some different ways of ribbon cuts. -
Day2:
Worked on DTV’s cuts and thrusts from Chinghiara and just exploring how to use the minimum muscles to get the max results.
Felt like lunging with a secondary in rapier. -
Day 1:
Did the Defenses Against the Thrust lesson.
Talked about how to help each other with a local practitioner.
Got my AZ shot and increased the chances of being alive to be able to do swordplay!

Week 3:
Struggling to click open the journal but I did get some small practices through out this week, just grabbing the sword and do some form flows and basic cuts from different guards.

Starting to get comfortable telling myself to check out the journal now, and definitely feeling better with the routine building up with it’s help.

Day 5:
had a lengthily discussion with a HEMA practitioner friend about the Duello’s understandings of aspects of the art. Did some dagger work with him.Felt really great to share about Duello.

longsword and dagger forms and some longsword ribbon cut solo drills.

overwhelmed myself with work and using weekend practices to compensate.
